LOFTS Sant Daniel is located in the most prestigious area of Girona, the Valley of Sant Daniel, just minutes behind the Girona Cathedral. A 5 min. walk (truly!) to the west along the river and you arrive in the heart of Girona´s medieval old town and the Cathedral, featuring many restaurants, outdoor cafes, shops, cinemas and our celebrated Sunset Jazz Club. A 5 min. walk (again!) to the east along the river, and you come to the XI century Monastery of Sant Daniel, beautifully restored and home to nuns of the Benedictine order. Another 5 min. walking and you enter the beautiful countryside and mountain of Sant Daniel, with paths for walking, hiking, mountain biking and picnics. There are steep rock paths to mild walking paths, leading to fabulous viewpoints, a castle and a fort. There are also restaurants for enjoying typical Catalan cuisine and grilled meats. It is amazing that this is all available in just minutes from old town Girona!
